Two Questions

At this juncture in my life, there are two questions that keep popping up into my head, and I keep pondering them, but I never arrive at an answer, so maybe someone can help me out with these.

1. Why do Californians hate anything having to do with hockey if they've never watched any hockey?

Irrelevant to the post, this just shows my new plate cover.

2. Why do people feel the need to tailgate? What does one achieve by tailing another?


With those two monsters out of the way, I have a couple more questions that are not nearly as important, but that I'd still like to know.

• Why is there such a lack of hockey related memes on KnowYourMeme.com? Hockey has so many memes, and yet so few are mentioned on the website, as I discovered today. This must be remedied. If you want to help fix this problem, a good place to start would be #DanEllisProblems
• Has anyone else ever noticed that Ott and Orr are eerily similar, and the two players even play similar roles (gritty-er Corey Perrys)?
• Why can't the US have Hockey Night in Canada? (Ok, I understand why we can't have HNIC in the US, but why can't we have a similar program? Namely, something that would essentially be After Hours but that would cover the Sharks.)
